Students enrolling in business, computer sciences and technology courses take what they learn in the classroom and immediately incorporate it into daily activities, testing their knowledge through real world situations and simulations.
Department Highlights

Students participate in the University of Dayton stock market contest where students invest money and compete against other local schools. Four of the top five teams last year were from CJ.

Students participate in the Sinclair manufacturing design contest.

Dan Marrinan ’09 used programming skills he learned at CJ to obtain an internship at Wright Patterson Air Force Base through the Wright Scholars Program.

Architecture Competitions sponsors the A.I.A. Architects in the Miami Valley area. CJ has won this competition in the past and students have received scholarships, stipends, and books.

Freshmen Computer Skills Competency Program ensures all first-year students have a basic level of computer skills. Passing all portions of the skills tests exempts the student from needing to take a required computer class during high school.
