Department Highlights

• Students participate in the family meal projects and theme party buffet project in Culinary Arts 2 and in the gingerbread house design and building project.

• The department brings in guest speakers on drugs, reproduction, abstinence, and organ donation.

• Students bake cookies for the annual Open House.

• Staff members have CPR certifications.

• Students participate in the “Baby Think It Over” weekend project.

• The program facilitates Wright State tour of athletic training facilities and interview with WSU trainers.

• There are three-week physical education and health sessions offered during the summer.
