Admissions
Dear Parents,
We know that you have options when it comes to choosing a high school for your child. Thanks for your interest in discovering more about the exceptional opportunities available to your family through Chaminade Julienne! As parents, when choosing a school for your children, you have to consider several important factors such as the school’s academic strengths, Catholic identity, affordability and its location. With so many choices, parents and their children deserve access to information about all schools in your community and in the Archdiocese.
I invite you to learn more about the opportunities the CJ community affords your children at our 8th grade Open House on October 30 at 1:00 p.m. There you will learn more about our 1.8 million dollar tuition assistance program. You will experience our AP, STEMM & Project Lead the Way courses. You will see our new campus additions (Blue Green Field, Student Conditioning Center, Eagles Tennis Center), as well as our Marianist and Notre Dame traditions that have shaped our community for over 160 years.
Get a jump start on the application process and register online for the High School Placement Test on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 8 a.m. Scores from HSPT can be sent to any high school you wish and on the morning of the test, parents are invited to stay for a complimentary breakfast and learn even more about CJ!
Finally, I also invite the whole family to experience the CJ community from home. You can create your own Virtual Tour by visiting us online at tour.cjeagles.org. There you can meet students and families like yours and see what they are saying about CJ. I am also available to speak with your family and answer any questions you may have about your child’s Catholic educational experience. You and your family do have options!
Please let me know if there is anything else that I can provide to you that will help your family make the decision for Chaminade Julienne!
Sincerely,

Admissions Criteria
Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School admits students who want to continue to develop their faith, strive to reach their highest academic potential and are self-disciplined. Admissions decisions are made using standardized test scores, writing samples, past academic performance and teacher recommendations. While CJ does not use pre-determined test scores, a balanced academic record and extra-curricular involvement are the best indicators of academic success at CJ.
