The 11 Little Things for Soccer
1. We will "Dare to Soar" in all we do.
2. We always run on and off the field, as well as when the coach instructs us to "bring it in!"
3. We avoid unsportmanslike conduct, yellow cards and failure to communicate with our teammates.
4. We respect and support the women's soccer program, as well as all of CJ's sports programs.
5. We support our local goalkeeper with a hard-nosed, tenacious defense and willingness to score.
6. We attain a concentration level and work-rate second to none during practice and our games. No one will ever out-work a CJ soccer athlete!
7. We believe putting on a CJ soccer uniform is a privilege and carries a responsiblity. This belief enables the player to keep his "eye on the prize" at hand.
8. We never quit! We never say "can't!" We play to win all of the time.
9. We strive to eat well and stay hydrated, in order to give CJ yet another edge over opponents.
10. We visualize and use mental imagery to see ourselves doing good things in the challenge at hand. Dream it. Picture it. Play it.
11. We compete against perfection at all times, using the tools of practice (both mental and physical), match play and the power of the team.
