Vital Elements of An Excellent Team
Made up of an average of 90 players, the Eagle Football team understands the emphasis on WINing – Working Together, Improving Everyday, and no excuses. Each year the team establishes the goal to make a run for the GCL Conference Title. They play in a very tough league, and they know that each game counts.
Team captains and seniors continue to build an excellent football program through goal-setting and leadership, and they all help instill in younger players that the team's excellence also rests in each player's commitment to faith, academics, and service to others. Players learn the necessary skills to succeed, doing the right things on and off the field. The football program is one of the reasons that Chaminade Julienne continues to win the prestigious Harold A. Meyer Award for Sportsmanship. An award highly valued by the CJ community.
