- Men's Soccer Team Making Strides (Community Update, 11-0915)
Team Chemistry, Spiritual Mindset
Something that sets this Eagle team apart from other soccer teams in the area is their reverence before games. The team spends time in prayer and reflection at Emmanuel Church before their games, fostering team chemistry and unity through a spiritual mindset. The team continue this tradition as it prepares to soar onto the fields this season.
Dare to Soar!
Your attitude almost always determines your attitude in life. The Dare to Soar attitude can be summed up in having the courage to succeed at anything in life that you set your heart and mind to accomplish—victory on the field, success in the classroom and continuing to soar above the rest in life.
Mediocrity is not part of this attitude. High expectations are placed on the CJ varsity soccer player—faith in God, discipline in actions, responsibility and will to overcome adversity and achieve success in all of life’s challenges.
Carry your Dare to Soar medallion with pride and a sense of accomplishment. Remember what it represents to the varsity soccer program and to you as a member of the team. Let us resign ourselves to be the best we can possibly be both on and off the fields of play this year and all the years to come.
