STEMM Partners

The following organizations have contributed to the success of CJ STEMM, by way of financial and in-kind contributions of resources, time, talent, and expertise. CJ has much to celebrate. In a time of special economic challenge, it is bright news that Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School, with support of alumni, friends, and partners such as Good Samaritan Hospital and the Mathile Family Foundation, builds upon CJ's tradition of excellent education through the successful implementation and national certfication of its Project Lead the Way program. CJ is the only Catholic high school in Ohio to offer PLTW courses on-site in engineering and biomedical sciences, further strengthening CJ's curriculum that educates students to use their academic talents in serving others in our world.

Alumni Involvement Continues to Grow CJ STEMM

The CJ STEMM program continues to benefit by the wealth of experience and knowledge from alumni who are willing to come back to CJ classrooms and share what they have learned in career fields rooted in science, technology, engineering, math and medicine. Each month, the CJ STEMM department hosts a speaker in its CJ STEMM Idol speaker series. "We are looking for a few more alumni to fill this year's roster," said Meg Draeger, CJ STEMM coordinator. "There are four 20-minute sessions during lunch period that give the entire school the opportunity to attend. This is one terrific opportunity for alumni in the area to not only share their knowledge with current students, but to also show students that they can build wonderful careers right here in Dayton."  Alumni who would like more information about the CJ STEMM Idol speaker series or other ways to partner with our CJ STEMM initiative should contact Meg Draeger at (937) 461-3740 x487.
