After experiencing the unique and enticing community spirit at the University of Dayton, I was beyond ecstatic to become a teacher at a Marianist high school. I look forward to advancing students' understanding and appreciation for science while integrating the mission statement and core values of Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School. Science is such an important and interesting contributor to our everyday life. I hope to get all students thinking critically about scientific breakthroughs and the implications they have for our community. I have found that more scientific learning takes place if students make connections to history, literature, technology, and even pop culture. I look forward to a great year at CJ!
