As I begin my 38th year in education, all of them spent at Julienne High School or Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School, I remember the many faces and students I have come to know over those years. Many of them are our current parents, faculty or staff at CJ and community leaders in Dayton.  As a benefactor of Catholic education my entire life, I come to realize with each passing year what that has meant to me and to my children, both of whom are Chaminade Julienne graduates, Mollie ’90 and Mark ’94.

I was a teacher and counselor at Julienne High School through 1972 and returned to Chaminade Julienne in 1977 as a full time counselor. Since that fall I have been in the guidance department, except for the 1998-99 school, when I served as interim principal. As stated in the guidance mission statement “counselors will work with educators, parents, guardians and the community to facilitate a support system , ensuring that all students of Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School are prepared to perform at the highest level and become contributing members of society”. I look forward each year to working with our students in helping them achieve their goals. Please feel to contact me any time for any reason.
