I am a professional artist and have exhibited my work in juried exhibitions and galleries around the country. I am primarily an equine and landscape artist but work in a wide variety of mediums.
My husband and I raise horses and alpacas on our farm in Spring Valley where I also teach classes in centered riding, safety on the trail and riding for the handicapped as a registered Therapeutic Riding Instructor with the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA).
Both of my daughters are CJ graduates and also are working artists.
I was raised Catholic and had knowledge of the Sisters of Notre Dame , yet I have learned through my 25 years at CJ another dimension of my religion through the Marianist community. I have been so amazed at the work that the sisters and brothers do throughout the world for others in need.
The support I have received at CJ in the arts and as a teacher has shown me my teaching here is truly a calling.
