I am a lifelong product of Catholic Education and a 1972 graduate of Chaminade H.S. I received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Wright State University (Social Studies Comprehensive), and a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of Dayton. Since 1978 (33 years), I have taught a variety of Social Studies courses at four different high schools, the last twenty-five years at Chaminade Julienne H.S.
Philosophy of Education
As a product of Catholic schools, I am committed to our school mission as provided by the Marianist and Notre Dame religious orders. As such, I strive daily to create a religious environment where lifelong learning is emphasized. I also believe in a disciplined classroom setting, characterized by intellectual curiosity, where students are encouraged to give their very best effort every day. As a social studies teacher I have a responsibility to help my students become contributing members of society who understand their civic responsibility. Parental involvement and communication are strongly recommended.
