Hello! I am so fortunate to be given the opportunity to teach at CJ in my first year of teaching. Students will be held to high expectations, while integrating the mission and values of Chaminade Julienne; I will help foster their science education through demonstration, instruction, and laboratory experiences. Not only am I looking forward to teaching my students, but also to see what my students will teach me. I can’t wait to be a part of this community!
I attended Marist College, founded by the Marist Brothers, in the beautiful city of Poughkeepsie, New York. While completing my BS in Biology Education, I also was a part of Marist’s Division I Women’s Basketball Team. We had four very successful seasons, clenching 4 league titles and attending the NCAA Tournament every year. Through this experience, I was able to work with a diverse group of people whose main goals were to serve the Hudson Valley both on and off the court. I will carry the skills I have learned to create a faith based, holistic education in my classroom.
