Please bring in any college acceptance or

 denial letters to the Guidance office. We track all of the information for Family Connection. Acceptances will be posted, all denials are kept private. Guidance will keep all acceptance letters in a binder in the Guidance office, for future referral purposes. Thank you!

   

   

NCAA Eligibility - If your student is planning or even considering playing a sport in college - register for NCAA online.  www.eligibilitycenter.org  Per NCAA - students should register with the NCAA Eligibility Center at the beginning of their junior year in high school. At the end of the student's junior year, a transcript, including six semesters of grades, should be sent to the NCAA Elibility Center from the high school. Additionally , students should have their SAT or ACT scores forwarded directly to the NCAA Eligibility  Center (by using code "9999") whenever they take the exam. NCAA fee is $65 payable online when the student registers. REMINDER - you MUST be registered for NCAA before you have an OFFICIAL college visit regarding Athletics!

http://www.college-admission-profiles.com allows students, parents, and educators to look up individual colleges and universities, and see what is required to be admitted to each.  This relatively new site currently has profiles of about 600 colleges, with more added every week.

 http://www.get-recruited.com allows students of all ages to get "matched" to career schools, traditional colleges, and online colleges which meet their needs and preferences.
