Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week 2019

“The survey says, you CAN make a difference!”

CJ's annual Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week will take place from Monday, November 18 through Monday, November 25. The theme for this year's annual event is not just about fun and games — it is about the effort to raise awareness about hunger and homelessness not only in the Dayton area, but around the world, ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The school community will be divided into four “game show” groups: Family Feud, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and The Price is Right. The faculty and staff are representing Hollywood Squares.

As in years past, throughout the week, the CJ community is encouraged to contribute items with the themes of Money Monday, Toiletry Tuesday, Warm Feet Wednesday, Together We Can Thursday, Feed the Hungry Friday, and Miscellaneous Monday. Monetary contributions will be given to Catholic Relief Services. Item contributions will be given to St. Vincent DePaul, Food for the Journey and The Food Bank.
