Money Takes Part in National Signing Day

"Opponents would have to beat Anna to beat CJ."

That was just one of the many things women's soccer Head Coach Roy Craig had to say about Anna Money '16 before she signed her letter of intent with The University of the Cumberlands. Money was the only senior to take part in National Signing Day, Wednesday, February 3.

"I've always wanted to be a part of this," Money shared. "To sign on National Signing Day is pretty cool."

Money was a four-year starter and goalkeeper for the Eagles. During her senior season, Money was named to the All-GCL first team, Southwest District first team, and All-Dayton South first team.

"She is a great leader and hard worker," Craig added. "She helped turn our program around and is an all-around good kid. I'm excited for her to go on to college and continue to play."

Money said she plans to study social work while at The University of the Cumberlands.

"I think I'll bring to The University of the Cumberlands my confidence and my morals," Money reflected."With college it's a little scary, but CJ taught me so well so I'm ready."
