Two Free Events: It Starts with a Visit

All Miami Valley families are invited to join us on campus this weekend for two FREE community events beginning Saturday, Oct. 25 with the STEMM Family Expo and continuing Sunday, Oct. 26 at our Fall Open House.

It Starts with a Visit!

STEMM Family Expo
SATURDAY, OCT. 25  |  1-4 P.M.  |  SCC
In partnership with the Dayton Regional Science Festival, CJ will host a STEMM Family Expo from 1 to 4 p.m. in the school's Student Conditioning Center, located downtown at 77 Eaker St. (view campus map).

“At its core, the Dayton Regional Science Festival (DRSF) is about making STEM learning fun and accessible to learners of all ages," said Dona Vella, vice president of development and external relations at the Dayton Society of Natural History and DRSF co-chair.

CJ has served as a DRSF host site for three years running. "The fact that partners like CJ can host events that give students the chance to develop leadership skills, showcase their creativity, and help educate the public makes the school a perfect fit for reaching our goal.”

Families with children of all ages are invited to enjoy an afternoon of fun hands-on displays, interactive experiences and make-and-take activities. Local STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math and medicine) experts and professionals will be showcased at more than 40 exhibits.

For more information about the CJ STEMM Family Expo, email or contact Meg Draeger, CJ STEMM coordinator, at (937) 461-3740 x487.
