College Credit Plus (CCP) is a program that allows high school students to earn high school and college credit simultaneously for courses taken during high school. This includes courses taken at a public college, online through a public college, and courses taught at CJ that have been certified by a college. Best of all, the college credit is free.
While earning college credit during high school is advantageous, there are several factors students and parents should consider before deciding to participate in CCP. There are also several important deadlines and steps that must be met to register for CCP.
You and your child are invited to attend an informational meeting about College Credit Plus for the 2019-2020 school year. Representatives from Wright State University and Sinclair Community College will be in attendance to answer questions. During this meeting, the pros and cons of CCP will be discussed along with all the deadlines and steps required to sign up for CCP.
The meeting is Thursday, Jan. 31 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the cafeteria. Please enter through the athletic entrance.
