NEWS: Women's Lacrosse Updates
5/2/17: From Coach Cash, "Last night's games vs Bellbrook and Oak Hills were games our fans wouldn't have wanted to miss. After a sad losing streak, yesterday was the best our two teams have looked all season!
The Varsity game vs Bellbrook was a strong win at 9-4. Although we had a number of penalty cards given and at one point were even two players down, we never lost our lead. The girls started the game strong and kept the intensity throughout the game. Our lead scorer was senior Olivia Livingston with three goals followed by senior Megan Stefan with two. Sophomores Brooke House and Anna Duggan lead the team in ground balls which had a strong hand at keeping us on the offense. Our two goalies, Brianna Moore and Rhiannon Beall also had a strong game by blocking 9 of 13 shots taken at them.
Our JV game vs Oak Hills Varsity was intense! Oak Hills goalie was blocked 10 of 15 shots our girls took at her. At the half we were down 3-1, but then the second half our JV really took force by calling their plays and being more strategic with their shot placement. CJ won the game 5-4. Our lead scorer and ground ball retriever was Greta Spees with two goals and three ground balls.
Next up is Lebanon JV and Varsity at their field on Thursday and 7 Hills at CJ on Saturday for CJ Lax Day."
