Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School has named Molly Bardine as its new director of mission integration, effective July 13.
Following a comprehensive search process, school leadership concluded that Bardine’s extensive experience at CJ and deep connection to the charisms of the school’s founding religious communities—the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and the Society of Mary (Marianists)—make her uniquely qualified to lead this vital area of the school’s ministry.
With 30 years of service to Chaminade Julienne, Bardine has held numerous instructional and leadership roles. She has served as an English teacher, department chair, co-chair of the Mission Integration Team, and co-founder and coordinator of the school’s Senior Capstone Project and the accompanying Sister Dorothy Stang Symposium. The impact of the senior capstone was recognized by the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) in 2024 with the Dr. Karen M. Ristau Innovations Award. In addition, she has served on the school’s academic accreditation committee, helping to advance strategic goals related to literacy and Catholic identity.
”Molly has demonstrated time and time again her passion for the mission of Chaminade Julienne, her care for her colleagues and our students, and her dedication to the traditions and legacy of the Sisters and the Marianists,” said Dan Meixner, president.
“She has presented our school and our programs at national conferences, always doing so with enthusiasm and humility. With her focus on research and great instruction, she is the right person for this role as we continue our commitment to continually form outstanding Catholic, Marianist, and Notre Dame educators and staff members.”
As a member of the school’s leadership team, the director of mission integration serves as the primary advisor to the president and leadership team in stewarding and advancing Chaminade Julienne’s mission as a Catholic, Marianist, and Notre Dame ministry. The role is responsible for fostering mission alignment across the school community by working collaboratively with Trustees, teachers, staff members, and students to assess, strengthen, and deepen the school’s commitment to its mission and values.
A key focus of the position is the orientation and ongoing formation of teachers, staff members, coaches, and other adults who serve students as ministers of the school’s Catholic identity and the Marianist and Notre Dame charisms. The director also oversees campus ministry efforts, ensuring the quality and impact of liturgical celebrations, retreats, service initiatives, and community-building activities.
“My own formation as a woman of faith and teacher leader has been shaped by the charisms of the Marianist and Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The Notre Dame Hallmarks and Characteristics of a Marianist Education have inspired my work in and out of the classroom. It will be an honor to bring this inspiration to our wider school community as the Director of Mission for CJ.
“I am excited to help facilitate the formation of our community and to serve the school with such an intentional focus on mission,” she said. “We have ambitious goals and thoughtful plans that will guide and hold us accountable as we move into the future. I am energized by the work ahead and passionate about keeping our mission at the forefront of everything we do.”
Bardine succeeds in a role that is central to preserving and strengthening Chaminade Julienne’s Catholic identity while ensuring that its Marianist and Notre Dame traditions continue to shape the educational experience of every student.
