CJ Welcomes Kristen Fecke as Director of Finance and Accounting

December 4, 2024

Chaminade Julienne is pleased to announce that Kristen Fecke will serve as the school’s director of finance and accounting. Fecke will officially join the school community on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

After nearly eight years at LexisNexis, Fecke gained experience through increasingly responsible roles in the company’s finance operations, culminating in her current role as finance manager. In that role, she supervised a team of up to nine people working across the country conducting global reporting, performance forecasting, and financial analysis for the company. In previous roles in other organizations, she was responsible at various times for accounting, tax, accounts payable, and bookkeeping.

“It is exciting that CJ was able to attract a talented financial professional to this role and to our community,” said Dan Meixner ‘84, president. “ I look forward to working with Kristen to continue the positive progress we have made in recent years to strengthen the school’s financial foundation and long-term sustainability.”

A graduate of St. Peter Catholic School and Archbishop Carroll High School, Fecke earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky in 2010. She and her husband, Bryan ‘02, are the parents of two children and are looking forward to contributing to CJ in new ways, especially as their children are on the path to becoming future Eagles.

“I am eager to start my journey with CJ at the start of 2025, joining a community that aligns with my values and faith,” said Fecke. “Since moving back to the Dayton area in 2017, we’ve attended lots of events on campus and have been astounded at the continued growth of the school. I am excited to help continue this growth both in the school and in the community.”

Identifying an outstanding candidate to serve in the role of director was through the result of a search committee that provided valuable information and input to the search process.

“I am grateful to all those who spent time with Kristen during the interview process, including members of the search committee (Trustees Andy Horner, Julie Roach, and Amy Wagner, along with Kendall Pegues ‘14, a member of the Financial Advisory Council, and current parent, Amanda Colvin), facilitated by Brandon Meyer, director of admissions; members of the business office team; and members of school leadership,” said Meixner.

“After meeting Kristen and listening to the feedback of others who met her during the interview process, I am confident that she will be a great addition to the school’s leadership team. And because of the search committee and business team’s work, Kristen will begin her service at CJ with a good understanding of the mission and responsibilities of the business office. Because of this, she is ready to fully embrace the opportunities in the role and the exciting future for Chaminade Julienne.”
