Chaminade Julienne offers scholarships worth up to $12,000 over four years to incoming freshmen passionate about language arts, service, STEMM, or performing arts.
“CJ endeavors to elevate each member of the CJ family to their fullest potential,” said Brandon Meyer, director of admissions. “Part of that is helping students continue to pursue the passion they established in elementary school. CJ is here to encourage their growth in a supportive atmosphere and connect them to a path that supports their life’s calling.”
CJ’s four scholarships cover different interests or talents. For the talented writers, CJ celebrates this student’s passion with the language arts scholarship. The ministry & service scholarship is for grade school students who are actively involved with leadership and activities at their parish/church and/or enjoy doing service in their community.
The CJ STEMM scholarship is for students who are succeeding in math and science classes and have been involved in STEMM-related activities or projects such as science fairs, National Science Olympiad, or scouting. CJ’s final scholarship is for the performing arts student, and is available to those with specific talent(s) in performing arts areas such as instrumental music, vocal music, acting, and/or dance performance.
“I was really excited when I received a CJ scholarship for STEMM,” said Brynn Gutendorf ’27 who received the scholarship last year. “It showed me how much I had already succeeded at STEMM and solidified how much I enjoyed it. Earning that scholarship inspired me to take engineering courses here at CJ and I’ve really enjoyed it so far.”
Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School is here to celebrate the talents of incoming students who have worked hard and found success in elementary school. CJ wants to continue to foster these passions! These four-year scholarships recognize students for their achievements and accomplishments prior to starting high school.
Students applying to be a part of CJ’s Class of 2029 should apply before the Dec. 1 deadline. Click on this link for more details.
