CJ Honors Faculty and Staff for Their Dedication and Service

June 9, 2025

As the 2024–2025 school year concludes, Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School takes a moment to reflect with deep gratitude on the dedication of our teachers and staff members. Day in and day out, they pour their hearts into shaping minds, nurturing growth, encouraging each other, and building a supportive community for all CJ students.

Special recognition is given to faculty and staff members who have reached significant milestones in their years of service to Catholic education. These individuals include:

  •       10 Years: Brooke Bauersfeld (Science), Libby Harbaugh (Spanish), Jeremy Valentine (Social Studies)
  •       15 Years: Jama Badinghaus (Counselor), Patrick Rizer (Director of Student Services)
  •       20 Years: Ann Hawthorn (Performing Arts), Beth Marshall (English), John Marshall (Director of Development), Kelly Muhl (Administrative Assistant)
  •       25 Years: Mick Mominee (Religion)
  •       35 Years: Nancy Dever (Math)
  •       40 Years: Tony Ricciuto (Social Studies)
  •       45 Years: Bob Young (Facilities Manager)

CJ extends sincere gratitude to each of these individuals for their dedicated years of service in advancing the mission of Catholic education.

The school also bids a fond farewell to several team members whose journeys are taking them in new directions. Among those retiring are Colleen Norris, school nurse, who played a crucial role in guiding the school community through the challenges of the pandemic, and Shelly Barnes, Title I/Catapult tutor.

“A big thank you to all the parents/guardians of CJ students,” said Norris. “Your cooperation in providing the required medical information for your students during my time as the CJ Nurse was much appreciated. It has been a wonderful experience.”

Others transitioning to new opportunities include Libby Harbaugh (Spanish/CJ United), Angela Hammerly (Math), Karin Klausing (Cuvilly), Megan Evans (Spanish), and Carlos Stewart (Director of Mission and Inclusion).

Stewart said, “Hello, Beautiful People! As I prepare to step away from my Director of Mission and Inclusion role, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the support, collaboration, and love I’ve experienced while at Chaminade Julienne. It has been an honor to walk with you in mission, and I will always carry CJ in my heart. I’m excited to begin a new chapter as Director of Diversity Work at St. Xavier High School, and I leave with deep gratitude for all we’ve accomplished together. The CJ community celebrates them and wishes them every happiness on their journeys ahead.”

With these departures, CJ has new career opportunities, including teaching and staff positions. We are seeking qualified individuals to join the CJ community. For more information, including a full list of positions, visit CJ’s employment website. Interested applicants should submit a CJ employment application and resume to careers@cjeagles.org.
