Rhine Allen joins us as a math teacher, having most recently taught at Emerson Academy and Meadowdale High School. She has been in the education field for almost five years and is thrilled to be part of the CJ community. Her son, Rico, is an incoming CJ sophomore.

“The CJ family has been so warm and welcoming. I am excited because CJ has given me so much love and encouragement. I feel like I can accomplish bigger goals than I set for myself. I was attracted to CJ because of the reputation of excellence. Since I was a little girl, hearing about CJ, CJ was always talked about with high expectations and prestige. I look forward to becoming an even better teacher, coach, colleague, mom and most importantly a woman of God.”

Marty Bagatti – Assistant Director of Ministry and Service

Marty Bagatti brings experience from his previous position at Immaculate Conception’s youth ministry office. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton where he assisted with the Marianist Pulse podcast and is well-acquainted with many current CJ staff members.

LeeAnn Cook – Administrative Assistant to the Counseling Office

LeeAnn brings a background in administration and community service, she is moving to Dayton from Sidney, Ohio, and is getting married in October to CJ graduate Orion Coyle ‘18.

“Initially I heard about CJ through my fiancé. He and his family all went to high school here, and his parents even met here! I’ve heard nothing but good things and I’m very excited to be an Eagle! I’m excited to attend sporting events and performances by the arts department. Once I get my bearings, I’d love to get involved with some after-school clubs and programs.”

Marcus Colvin – Assistant Director of Development

Marcus Colvin returns to CJ as the assistant director of development after spending two years at Beavercreek High School. He is a proud father of three, with his daughter beginning the 2024-2025 school year as a freshman.

“After two years of pursuing an opportunity outside of CJ, I’m excited to return to the community and people that I love and treasure in a new way, and bring back what I have learned while away. While I appreciate my previous time at CJ, which is part of my past that I dearly treasure, I look forward to returning to CJ with a new and dedicated focus on aligning the CJ mission with the philanthropic passion of our benefactors.”

Jennifer Farthing — Alumni Relations Coordinator

Jennifer Farthing joined CJ in April as the school’s alumni relations coordinator. One of her first tasks was taking the reins in planning this year’s Reunion Weekend. With this focus, she had the opportunity to meet alumni class representatives, coordinate with this year’s Taste of CJ participants, and work alongside members of the business and communications offices to help prepare for the annual homecoming event.

“I am excited to join the CJ community as the alumni relations coordinator,” said Farthing. “It has been a lot of fun getting to know the staff, faculty, and students, as well as using my creativity to present new ideas to my team. I am looking forward to wrapping up Reunion Weekend and transitioning into next year’s celebrations, and exploring fresh ways to engage our newest alumni members!”

Ben Kendricks – Health and PE Teacher

Ben Kendricks is returning to CJ as a health and PE teacher after serving as a long-term substitute last year. He brings a wealth of professional experience in fitness and training and comes from a family line of educators.

“I look forward to teaching sports medicine this year, as well as Health and P.E. for CJ! I also look forward to being a good mentor for the students in our SOAR groups and Neighborhoods while working to create our leaders of the future. What brings me to CJ is that it is a faith based school with a faith based curriculum. My hobbies include exercise, reading, and golf.”

I am looking forward to continuing to help with the marching band as it is something that I have always enjoyed. I also hope to chaperone one of the retreats.”

“I am excited to work at CJ because it is an opportunity to get more involved in this community. Through my involvement with an Afghan family that has had three young men graduate from CJ and three attend CJ now, I have learned to appreciate all CJ has to offer. As their American Mom (i.e., sponsor), I have seen CJ from a parent’s perspective, and now I am excited to share what makes CJ such an outstanding school with the greater Dayton community.”

Juliana Yoss – Administrative Coordinator, Development Office

Juliana Yoss is a CJ graduate from the class of 2020 and a recent graduate of The Ohio State University. She now joins CJ as the administrative coordinator for the development office.

“I was attracted to CJ because I wanted to ‘go home.’ Since I graduated during the pandemic I was not able to say goodbye. I wanted to be able to close a chapter of my life that I felt never got the right ending while simultaneously opening a new chapter. I am looking forward to meeting all the students, seeing the different sports teams play and going to some of the pep rallies.
